Comments: Dear Keith, Thanks SO much for such a wonderful site! I was a big fan of Sir Graves when he started on WTOP Channel 9 out of Washington DC when I lived in a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. That was in 1971. I was lucky enough to see his first show, which was on at 11:30 on Friday night. The movie was CASTLE OF THE LIVING DEAD. There was another show on Saturdays at 4:00pm. Naturally, I was there for both of them, every single week. I used to tape Graves' spots with my old reel to reel tape recorder, and listened often. Unfortunately, I tried to play those tapes again some yearsago, and they had degraded to the point where there was no signal left. Tha's sad, but I can still remember many of the skits, since I heard them so much I memorized them. Sir Graves' show was the first time I got to see all of the Universal classics that I had been reading about in FAMOUS MONSTERS magazine. Watching every week was a ritual that I still remember fondly. I was heartbroken when the show was take

Comments: I grew up in Detroit during the 80's and as a child I watched your show religiously. I'm 33 now but then in my elementary years I would watch your show on weekends and be scared as hell. I especially loved the hand that talked and sung those crazy songs. It freaked me out but my uncle would tell me it was a thumb over a fist. I thought it was a real talking hand. I write horror screenplays and Suspense thrillers now and in hopes of finding an agent but I owe it all to you for getting me into horror. Thank you. COME BACK AGAIN!!!

Comments: I used to watch Sir Graves Ghastley on Saturday as a little girl. Just saying the name again, offers a glimpse into how excited I would get when his show came on! haha At 36, I haven't really watched any "scarey" movies...probably because Sir Graves isn't talking me thru it!

Comments: I used to watch Sir Graves Ghastly on our local TV. One time in the late '60's when I was about 7 years old, he visited a shopping center near where I lived. My mom took me to see him - we stood in line with a bunch of other kids and their moms. He was carried out in a coffin, got out and talked to the kids, etc. I eventually got to shake his hand and say hi.... it was a great moment.

Comments: Thanks for putting together such a wonderful site, Keith! I used to watch Sir Graves just about every Saturday with my older brother. (Mom would go grocery shopping and leave me at his mercy) He'd always "draw the drapes, turn out the lights" and try his best to scare me! Watching the videos brought back a lot of great memories...thanks again! You have been added to my Favorites list!

Comments: what a find this website is! I recall watching SGG from late 1967 to mid 1972, when I moved away from Michigan...what terrific memories! It seemed like every 2nd or 3rd movie shown had Lugosi in it, usually one of the more obscure ones like "Human Monster". I hope Mr. Deming is still possessed of a sharp, clear mind, and able to see this website. Long live SGG!
