Please enjoy creeping through the guestbook, and don't forget to sign it yourself and share your own Sir Graves memories! Put them down now, so they won't be lost forever! (names with no comments will be removed to save space)

Note: This page is mainly intended for sharing your Sir Graves thoughts and memories--not really for questions you'd like answers to. If you do have specific questions about Sir Graves or this site, feel free to e-mail me directly or post a message on my Detroit Horror TV message board. By all means, if you would like to talk with myself and others about Sir Graves (or vintage Detroit TV & Drive-ins) in more detail, please visit the message board. And finally, please don't spam this guestbook. If you sign just looking to buy or trade tapes, or simply to put your link here, your entries will be removed. Thanks.

Comments: 'Sir Graves' is my grandfather so I'm especially thrilled to see this website in his honor. Lawson Deming (Sir Graves) will turn 90 this April so we plan on celebrating this momentous occasion with him. Thank you for creating this site. It is so fun to see some of his work on the internet. Can't wait for his Great Grandchildren to view it as well.

Comments: Ok, I did use to watch Sir Graves if I happened to be around on a Saturday afternoon... but nothing compared to the anticipation of seeing "The Ghoul" Saturday night. To be honest, "The Ghoul" probably ripped off the whole SirGraves concept, but did take it to another outrageous step. Even more unbelievable, the movies SirGraves presented were probably of a higher quality than the Ghoul. But both were fun though, and nothing compared to the closed caption "upsidedown mouth" SirGraves used when singing songs. That was bizarre! Great Site!

Comments: You've really done a great job on the site; I need to take a few tips from you, especially this guestbook: how are you doing it? Very few good guestbooks out there, as I've learned through extensive trial and error. Looking forward to seeing that General Cinema trailer when you get a copy. Thanks for your contributions to my site, Keith.

Comments: I can't believe that anyone else remembers this show! Every Saturday I'd watch Chiller on channel 50 (remember the person in the Frankenstein mask that stirred the cauldron between commercials?), and then watch Sir Graves. On Sunday I'd get the TV Book from the Free Press to see what movie they'd be showing. I always hated it when the show was pre-empted for tennis or golf. I also remember rushing home after school when Sir Graves hosted the King Kong 4:00 special (I think it lasted a week). There was also a 3D Creature From The Black Lagoon special he did at 8:00. I believe you could get the 3D glasses from A&W. This is a great site -- I'm glad to know that other people have memories of Sir Graves Ghastly -- the clips have really brought back fond memories of this classic show. (Also, remember Godzilla week on the channel 7 afternoon movie? That's all we could talk about in the second grade)

Comments: Other movies I remember--Hands of a Strangler(basic plot was concert pianist whose hands were horribily mangled in a car accident--the doctor didn't realize he was in such bad shape until he cut away the pianists's gloves--hand transplant from deceased serial murderer! I don't recall any production info, but it's probably on the 'net'. Also, he showed "Day of the Triffids" And, although Sir Graves had programming scheduled the Saturday of President Eisenhower's Funeral, (1970)he decided that somebody rising from a casket was in poor taste, so he pre-empted himself. Yea, he was a part of my childhood. Oh--anybody remember "Morgus Presents"? and his 5:55 p.m. Weather Forecast? Also on Channel 2.

Comments: Remember 'The Blob'--I Vant to Bite your Hand? And when Sir Graves dressed up in drag and sang (a la Mrs. Miller--off key). Fiend Without a Face (Marshall Thompson and Flying Brains) terrified me for months!

Comments: While I didn't watch it every saturday I did catch it once or twice a month, depending on what movie was being shown.Good site, I wonder if someone has a Morgus site online? I still use "rabbit ears" to pull in the snowy stations [all three of them] here in the frozen wasteland known as 'da Yooper', eh!

Comments: Old Sir Graves! I met him several times back in the late 1960's and early 1970's--one time was at a movie theater in Livonia, MI. where Sir Graves made a special appearance; everyone was real excited as to what movie he was going to show at the theater--turned out to be THE GHOST & MR. CHICKEN w/ Don Knotts!! I also recall that one time I sent him a picture of the Frankenstein monster I had drawn especially for his gallery on the show--to my utter surprise, Old Sir Graves hung the picture by itself on his castle wall where it stayed for several weeks! But now Lawson is gone like all the great times and shlock films on his TV show. Guess those days will never happen again! RIP Sir Graves!

Comments: Great site. It was Sir Graves who first introduced me to Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolfman, and the Mummy as well as some the most god-awful horror movies ever made. But through it all, there was Sir Graves. Thanks for putting this site together. It brings back great memories from my childhood.
