Comments: Thank you for this terrific site, and thak you to Mr Deming and crew for a show that was funny, scary, and weird all at the same time. Strangely, it pretty much seemed to set the stage for the rest of my life. When I showed this site to my kids, they said how lucky I was to grow up then. Thanks to folks like Mr Deming, I know they're right. Now, when ever my kids get candy when they're trick or treating, they thank you and Happy Haunting. Perhaps you might consider doing a Wikipedia page devoted to the show, with a link to this site. The whole world deserves to know about Sir Graves Ghastly. Dave

Comments: I enjoyed Sir Graves movies over the years since I was about 7 years old. I wish it had never ended and especially the way it did. But, because of him I can appreciate the movies of old and the movies of new thanks to him and for the years of scarring me when I was little. Thank you Sir Graves.

Comments: How wonderful to see a site, finally, for Sir Graves. I was a frequent viewer of Sir Graves in the late 1970's and early 1980's and can attest that Sir Graves was, quite simply, 'the Man.' A lovely site -- well maintained -- and one that brought back many, many, fond memories. Even here in New Brunswick, Canada (where I'm doing military training), I can still remember Sir Graves (and that *laugh* -- unmistakeable.) 2Lt. B.G. Billing. Royal Canadian Artillery. Canadian Forces.

I enjoyed Sir Graves immensely as a kid, and can remember settling down to a quiet Saturday afternoon in front of the TV and all the while my parents would bug me to go outside and do something productive, and quit wasting away in front of the tube, and such silliness!!! haha!! Sir Graves will always be my favorite....What memories you brought back!! Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane!!

Comments: Growing up around DC, there were a number of local TV celebrities, including cowboys, sailors, and clowns. But, none were as memorable as when Sir Graves Ghastly hit the area on Saturday afternoons. His shtick transcended merely melodramatic, and was the perfect foil for the kind of B horror shows he hosted. Thanks, Gravey.

Comments: Brilliant site! As a kid, I'd watch his show religiously. As much as I loved Sir Graves, I loved the Glob. It was such a simple yet disturbing effect. Every year I host a horror fest at Halloween. Somehow, I think, Sir Grave's is responsible for my love of all things Happy and Haunted! Naaahhhaaaaaa.

Sir Graves Ghastly, how much I love and appreciate him and the work he has done, and the sheer ghoulish fun he has given Detroit-area viewers such as myself. I got indoctrinated to the horror classics thanks to Sir Graves, and I was a loyal viewer up until I went away to college and still managed to see Sir Graves every once in a while, thanks to early cable TV programming in my dorm and on home during school vacations. Comments: Watching Sir Graves Ghastly is probably one of my favorate childhood exeriences (born in 1968). Many were the day that I satyed in doors while other children played in the sun. It was my first introduction to all those wonderfull (and wonderfully bad) horror films. All the characters from the show were great, but Sir Graves was, and still is, the King. I became a director of horror movies (getting ready to do a vampire movie right now in fact) because of Sir Graves. God bless. john

Comments: I was watching the Tony Bennett special tonight which ended with him singing "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." The intro to the song jogged my memory. I laughed to think of Tilly Trollhouse singing, "The loveliness of Paris, is somehow sadly grey...." So I googled Sir Graves and was so happy to read the history of the show and it's wonderful characters. I have such happy memories of sitting in front of the TV with a friend and having snacks and watching scary movies. But Sir Graves and his wacky characters pop into my mind and I have to laugh. The Glob! Tilly! And the beatnik guy! So funny. Thank you Sir Graves! You're the best! Love, Cynthia

Comments: I haven't seen anything that has rivaled Sir Graves Ghastly,he is a champion of wit,and campy humor.Tilly Trollhouse still makes me laugh.I argued with my best friend for hours over what the Glob was.(I said it was Sir Graves chin upside-down, she insisted it was a hand...)He was practically a hero in our house.Five kids, the eldest started with Morgus and then introduced us all to the delight of horror movies with Sir Graves and his menagerie of creepie guests. Sir Graves attended a Canada Parade in my hometown in Sarnia,Canada.I was a finalist ,dressed in a home-made attempt to be a Swamp Thing, with "green" garbage bags and green wool. When I crossed the stage he let out that raucous laugh and said whatever I was I was frightening. I stood right next to him and was more thrilled than if I'd gotten to stand by Cary Grant.I am thrilled to find this fabulous website, compiled by such a devoted fan. Thanks for a delightful walk back in time and great memories! I'll visit often!

Comments: I recently told my young son about a show I used to watch growing up in Birmingham, MI. He wanted to know all about it so I did a google search on Sir Graves Ghastly and found this site. This is great! After reading the show history, I just had tons and tons of memories come pouring back. I used to religiously draw the curtains and get settled on the couch to watch an old horror flick( and my mom used to yell at me to get out of the house rather than spend the afternoon infront of the TV). My son thinks its funny that I used to submit countless pictures to the Ghoulary and that I never once saw any of my work on camera (sore spot for me). Anyway, I wish I could find this kind of programming in Chicago today. Watching an old horror flick without an intro from Sir Graves is just not the same. Thanks for putting in the effort to build this site. I'll be back.

Comments: I fondly remember watching Sir Graves Ghastly as a child and I'll never forget his evil laugh, which didn't sound that evil and made me laugh, too. He was quite a character and I'm glad to hear he's still alive. I want to say to him...thanks for the memories. You left a happy imprint on a lot of children as well as adults and you left the world a better place than you found it. Take care.

Comments: I am now 47 years old, a doctor and living in Charlotte,NC. Some of my favorite times as achild were sitting in front of the TV and getting the DC feed with Sir Graves on the Telly. I was so happy to find this site. I was discussing with a friend how the show was so great and just decided to "Google" Sir Graves. If some one could just tell him for me that in a very broken home, he shed joy, fear and laughter into my life. I am eternally grateful. With much love, Scott Sweeney

Comments: Happy Halloween Sir Graves! I sure do miss saturdays at 1:00. Seems the most exciting thing that happens at that time any more is when they check the tornado siren. I'd like to also take this chance to thank you for an autographed photo u sent to me not too long ago. It was for my son Brandon and is now tucked away safe along with one you signed for me in the early 80's. Your son David was kind enough to send along a very nice little note as well. Thank You so much for the great years of entertainment!
