Please enjoy creeping through the guestbook, and don't forget to sign it yourself and share your own Sir Graves memories! Put them down now, so they won't be lost forever! (names with no comments will be removed to save space)

Note: This page is mainly intended for sharing your Sir Graves thoughts and memories--not really for questions you'd like answers to. If you do have specific questions about Sir Graves or this site, feel free to e-mail me directly or post a message on my Detroit Horror TV message board. By all means, if you would like to talk with myself and others about Sir Graves (or vintage Detroit TV & Drive-ins) in more detail, please visit the message board. And finally, please don't spam this guestbook. If you sign just looking to buy or trade tapes, or simply to put your link here, your entries will be removed. Thanks.

Comments: I am 46 years old, and last night I had a dream about Sir Graves. I hadn't thought of him for years but the dream brought back so many good memories from my childhood. Thank you so much for this wonderful tribute and walk down memory lane.

Comments: We use to always watch Sir Graves on Saturday afternoon. I can still remember the segments where he would display the hand drawn pictures hanging on his wall. Lots of Godzilla pictures as I recall. Good job in remembering a great host webmaster.

Comments: THIS SITE ROCKS!!!! I can not thank you enough for the pleasure I have just had by going thru your site! Could I be more excited???!!!! It all came ragin' back to me and it was bliss. My salvation was the weekend and this show. For me it was Sir Graves on Friday nite until it was moved to Saturday only. Then I remember the Ghoul taking over and doing those crazy spoke over Godzilla flix (that would have me laughing until it hurt). Then it was Saturday afternoon with 'the Graves' then off to channel 20 for the creature double feature with the scary Led Zepplin intro. That song was never the same after that. But anyways, back to Graves; This is the man who introduced me to so many things that changed my life (for the better) and I've never been the same since. Tilly was my first drag queen and I've adored them ever since. I have become a Horror/ Suspence critic and I love it. Black became more then just all the colors combined for me, it became a way of life that I have not out grown.

Comments: Great site, great memories! In the early 70s a friend and I mailed him pictures that we drew hoping he would display them in the gallery. He sent us each a post card with his photo on it. I still have it somewhere!

Comments: I am happy to have found this web site. I grew up loving Sir Graves and miss his show greatly. I've always loved the old horror movies and Halloween. Sir Graves kept that Holloween magic going all year round. I loved when he would show the artwork the kids would send in. I sent him several pictures that I drew and it was like winning a million dollars when I saw them on TV.

Comments: I am now living in Colorado. I still miss Detroit and remain true to my roots. I have told my children about Sir Graves...my friends from other big cities (Chicago, Pittsburg, San Francisco, etc.) had their own horror host but none as good as ours. He kept us so well entertained and we all graduated "Magna Cum Laude" from the B-picture horror genre. How I loved to watch him & his cast of characters. There is only one question I want to pose...why did the Tigers have to play on Saturday afternoon? Wasn't weekdays, nights, & Sundays enough? Who can answer? I wanted to watch our vampire on Saturday afternoon, in the summer, in our dark basement, with all the lights off where we could be cool at the same time.

Comments: Now living in N. Florida. I made audio recordings with a microphone from the TV speaker of some of the early show with Count Alucard, nephew Julian, Cool Ghoul & Baruba which I am trying to get restored as the playback speed varies drastically. Once spoke with Lawson on the phone while he was at the WJBK studio after just doing the show LIVE. He was great fun and mailed me his autographed photo (the same one you have on your media page, upper right) but without the rounded corners. He wrote a bunch of stuff on the back, ending with "Happy Haunting, Sir Graves". I watched it faithfully 'till I moved in 1969, so I can see how much the show went on & developed afterward. Gravesy, I miss you & all the wonderful fun from those times.

Comments: Our conversations first started with "Saturday Night Dead" and then went on to Sir Graves Ghastly from there. I took a chance and keyed it into the internet and poof !, there he was in all his glory ! What a warm memory he brings in his own ghastly way. Cheers to those who keep our memories alive.

Comments: My family and I met Sir Graves at the Farmington Hills summer celebration. My brother Chris and I received his autograph and pic. Chris even got to do his impersonation of Sir Graves. It was a blast and a memory we both remember fondly. I loved those shows. We still try to find some of the old flicks for purchase. Thanks for the website.
