Another photo taken by Chuck Fraley during a September, 1970 show taping at WTOP-TV in Washington DC! That's his friend, Billy Hull, holding "George", the paper mache head that appeared in skits regularly (in Detroit as well). Chuck writes: "I remember the studio being fairly small, so we were close to Sir Graves during the taping. The WTOP Sir Graves set did not include much more than what you could see in the photos. In addition to the casket and street lamp, there was a place they used to hang an old looking scroll, which listed the name of the movie for each show. As I think back on it, I thought seeing the actual show live during taping was kind of boring, because none of the sound effects and such were used, as I recall. It was much better to see the show on TV!" Courtesy: Chuck Fraley.
