At
last, a glimpse of the WTOP-TV Sir Graves set in Washington
DC! Note Sir Graves' cape hanging off the lampost, too! Wow. This great
photo (and the two that follow it) was kindly sent in by Maryland fan,
Chuck Fraley, who witnessed a September,
1970 show taping with his friend. Chuck
writes: "I was 12 at the time. I believe it was a weeknight, as
we went in early evening on a 'school night'. The first thing that
struck me was the fact that Sir Graves' 'casket' was not real, but
something a prop person had put together. I actually walked up to it,
touched it, and also
saw that its exterior color had been spray painted on. But the best
part was
looking into the casket and seeing that they used old scripts
as padding!"
